Is it possible to convert maps from other aftermarket ECU manufacturers like Wolf, Haltech etc, to work with the Rabbit ECU? As My son has 2 Celica GT4's and a couple of Rav4's with 3SGTE engines in them and we are wanting to put Rabbit ECU's on them. Wolf has working maps downloadable fore the ST185/205 celicas for their ECU and I was wondering if they could be used as a starting point.
Thanks Greg.

Hi Greg,
I'm not sure how easy that would be.
The MAP-MATE calibration files are saved as XML I have no idea what format those other files are...
If you run speed density it should be easy to just flat map for 90% VE and say 20 degrees timing to get the car running.
Sorry I can't help more

No worries - you just need to input the injector flow rate milligrams per second on each injector (typically say 3000 - 8000 mg/s), cc capacity of each cylinder, cylinder count as well as flat map 90% VE and that is pretty much guaranteed to start the engine and run a little rich until you tune.
