I am doing Z18XE engine .Have electronics background .Lots of interest here.
Is fly by wire throttle figured??

Hi Ian,
Nice! I had the Rabbit ECU running piggyback fuel/ignition on a Z18XE several years back.
The ECU was simpler then - I didn't run the DBW throttle.
I think the VW install I use now has a different pedal sensor scheme compared to the Simtec system used with the Z18XE.
If you used a VW pedal then there would be no extra work to do. Would just have to confirm that your throttle has 'rising & falling' voltage output - same as VW.
You could say the throttle is 'figured' in that it is simple and reliable, but it isn't highly configurable.
